3D Printing Technology
Design and Development Director
3D printing has gone from hobby to profession
as it gains acceptance in a growing number of functional applications.
From end-use products to machining jigs and fixtures, 3D printing can
speed workflows, reduce production costs, and create novel designs.
As with any other production method it's necessary to understand the
benefits and trade-ffs to make it work to your advantage. This talk
discusses some basics of design-for-printing, 3D printing workflows
in the professional environment, and examples of real-world use across
a variety of applications.
